Food Trucks of the Valley

The Comox Valley has a number of both seasonal and year-round food trucks serving their own versions of Island fare, and all are worth seeking out to satisfy your various edible cravings.

 

① Rove Wandering Kitchen

To match the wandering nature of the kitchen, the menu at Rove also wanders, changing with the seasons and the locally available ingredients. Enjoy fresh, made-from-scratch dishes like roasted cauliflower korma and thyme-infused bone broth.

② Surfside Fish and Chips

Love’s Ice Cream

This adorable ice cream truck can be found tucked away on the main street of Cumberland, recognizable by its pale blue colour and vintage vibes. Love’s Ice Cream is popular for their delicious homemade ice cream and waffle cones.

Taco Bandido

Parked at Wayward Distillery, Taco Bandido offers tasty Mexican-style street tacos and other Mexican favourites. Their tacos are all gluten free, and there are also vegetarian, vegan, and dairy-free options available.

The food at Black Market Food Truck sets them apart from other trucks, with a varied menu that is as flavourful as it is filling. Find them always parked behind Mountain City Cycle and Blue Toque in Courtenay.

Phat Parrot

Phat Parrot will satisfy all your food truck cravings with their hearty burgers, fries and hotdogs—and other memorable menu items like their mac and cheese bites and scallop tacos.

Jackknife Pizza

The kind of pizza that dreams are made of. Jackknife Pizza offers a variety of deliciously unique recipe pizzas, cooked to perfection in a wood-fired oven that will have you coming back for more.
